Shri Gauri Shanker Soni, born in Agra in the year 1938 is a very well known artist of Delhi. Presenting his exhibition of paintings third time at All India Fine Art & Crafts Society (AIFACS), New Delhi from 22nd to 28th February, 2019.
Even at the age of 80 Gauri Shanker Soni has proved the way life can be lived -n- enjoyed with consistent -n- continuing following own dreams - specially his creative interests with deep devotion -n- dedication and stand tall among younger generation as an icon.
Gauri Shanker Soni is master of several art mediums and techniques. This time his present work of art resemble to engarving technique of old era in created in his own style and that too in large scale - say more than 50 art works beautifully done depicting Mughal Era including The Taj - one of seven wonders of world, along with ghats of Varanasi, Parliament House at Delhi, to name a few.
It's a great investment of life time for Art Buyer & Curators to witness the art work of Gauri Shanker Soni with such detail and that too in large number which is hardly seen now a days. The details of his work is no doubt a visual feast for the art lovers & students of Art especially College of Art, Delhi University, JNU etc.
His endeavor is everlasting and he is already ready with other dream to create and show case his next art work very soon and we wish him a Big Luck for same.
